Thanksgiving with Family

Last week we traveled to Indy for Thanksgiving. It was a fun time with family. Hillary's grandparents stayed in Indianapolis later this year to spend the holiday with family in Indianapolis. They enjoyed getting to see Cole, which they won't be able to do until next May. As far as Thanksgiving goes, it was a good time to think about everything we have to be thankful for. So much!

While we were down there, Cole seemed to change overnight. He is moving forward now instead of just backwards. He does pretty well getting from one spot to the next, although he is still a bit uncoordinated. We mentioned in the last posting that he is sitting up a lot more on his own and that continued to be the case. He sits up for about 10-15 minutes at a time now without falling. He is growing up so fast!

Cole is such a good eater. He eats almost anything we give him; although I don't think he prefers peas. He will eat as much as he can stand but after that, he won't eat anymore. He does eat sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash really well. He of course like pears, apples and bananas. He is so cute when he eats - opening his mouth like a little bird!

My grandparents gave Cole his Christmas present since they were here. He actually helped unwrap the present. He love to chew on paper so I think this was a treat for him.

My brother Ben was able to come from Las Vegas. Cole wasn't too sure about him at first but later on we caught this cute moment of them cuddling together.

Uncle Todd put up a train and Cole and Elias were watching it. Elias was really getting excited about it.
