On Friday, we went to the park at the Lake with some friends from church. It was a nice time, but outings with Cole are getting tough. He is continually getting into EVERYTHING and usually, it is stuff that he shouldn't really be playing with. It was a long evening and we did stay for the fireworks, which really didn't start until 9:30 so Cole was completely pooped by the time we got home. He seemed to enjoy the fireworks somewhat, but I don't think they excited him a whole lot.
Cole started clapping on his own yesterday. I was starting to wonder if he every would get the hang of it, but during breakfast we went "yeaaaaa" for some reason and he started clapping. It is pretty cute because he isn't perfectly coordinated yet.
Cole eating some watermelon. He kept wanting to put the rind in his mouth. Needless to say, he was not too happy when we finally took it away.
Mommy and Cole enjoying some time outside. Notice the sweatshirt! It was quite cool for the beginning of July.

And this was just yesterday, but it was too funny not to post. Keet was fixing dinner and Cole started taking the food off of some shelves. He proceeded to line it up outside of the kitchen doorway on the dining room floor. I think the picture with the peanut butter in midair is especially funny.
