Family

This past week Keet's parents visited us. They drove from Indiana - it took them about 14 hours each way. We didn't do too much while they were here - the weather didn't cooperate for the first 3 days, but the last couple of days were Ok.




On Saturday, we did go to a living history museum and although a lot of it was closed, they had a great play place in one of the buildings that Cole enjoyed a lot! Grandpa sat with him while we looked at some of the exhibits.


On Friday night, Stromsburg had a little event called Boo on the Square. A lot of the businesses had little games you could play and then you got candy. Cole enjoy the bean bag tosses - although he more or less just put it in the hole instead of throwing it in.

One day I just had to make some chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting - and so I did! Cole enjoyed licking the frosting off of the spatula.
