Visit to Indy

Cole trying to get some Thanksgiving pie! He climbed all the way up by himself.

Cole and Elias with Grandpa Redden.

Trisha and I are both almost 20 weeks along in our pregnancies.

Cole pushing his stroller at the airport. There were some not-so-fun moments but overall he did really well with flying.

Elias and Cole pushing their lawnmowers. They kept switching, trying to get the better one - it was funny.

Cole and I took a trip home last week to Indy for Thanksgiving. Keet couldn't join us because of his responsibilities here, so Cole and I flew. Of course, there are no direct flights so we had a long day on Monday and long afternoon and evening on Friday. But, we had a really good time while home and Cole got to spend some nice quality time with his grandparents, aunt and uncles and cousin. The one bummer of our trip was the fact that Duke was pretty sick while we were home. Keet's parents have been taking care of him for the last 3 months until we find our own place here in Nebraska. Anyway, Duke was REALLY sick; his blood wasn't clotting and he had some major bleeding issues going on that they couldn't really diagnose for a while. Plus, it was a huge mess. He is finally doing much better and hopefully should be 100%. He will be on some medication for a few months and then hopefully he won't have any lasting effects of the sickness. It just stinks that all this had to happen while he was with them and over Thanksgiving.

On another note, we are in the final stages of selling our house. As long as everything continues to go through, we will close on December 12th. We are so grateful that we have buyers in this market and feel very blessed that the house wasn't on the market for more than 6 months. In the next few months we will be looking for a place to call home here in Stromsburg.
