Cole had his first soccer game today. His season lasts about a month and he has 8 games. My fear was that Cole would get out there and basically shut down. He has a tendency to do that and that is what he did today. We could guess from many different reasons as to why he did this: shyness, things not going the way he expects, too many people, etc. Our main goal for the next several weeks is to just get him to stay out on the field for more than 30 seconds and PLAY! He plays soccer great at home with Keet, but of course he has a whole yard to himself and not seven other kids fighting over the ball. :) Here is a video you can watch.
